For more than 30 years, SPIE has supported French nuclear fuel cycle operators in France and abroad in processes ranging from fuel fabrication and reprocessing to power generation to waste storage, as well as naval propulsion and nuclear research.

In 2006, SPIE Nucléaire was created to combine into a single organisation both the nuclear-related capabilities previously delivered by different subsidiaries and the skills brought in by newly acquired companies.

Today, the unit is leveraging its ability to seamlessly integrate its electrical engineering, instrumentation, automation, mechanical engineering, valve, piping and HVAC engineering expertise to offer increasingly comprehensive engineering and service solutions, with class-leading proficiency in nuclear security, quality, safety and environmental protection.
