Nantes renews its confidence in SPIE Ouest-Centre for public lighting

2007/10/15

SPIE Ouest-Centre has won a major contract for public lighting maintenance in six communes in the metropolitan area of Nantes: La Chapelle sur Erdre, Orvault, Sautron, Saint-Herblain, Indre and Couëron. This contract covers remedial and preventive maintenance for 20,700 lighting fixtures and 507 related control cabinets. Under this contract, the Public Lighting department of the Infrastructures des Pays de Loire office (Nantes) office will also install Christmas illuminations.

This maintenance work, worth €870,000 over a two-year period, will start on 1 January 2008. The two-year contract, which is renewable three times, promises a durable partnership and makes SPIE Ouest-Centre a preferred service provider for Nantes Metropolitan Area.

The contract is the fruit of joint efforts by the subsidiary's Public Lighting development unit and the Infrastructures des Pays de Loire office. Together they drew up an outstanding, first-class technical proposal which not only won the contract but also drew praise from Nantes Metropolitan Area for its quality and innovative nature.
