SPIE Sud-Est helps renovate Villefranche Hospital

Villefranche Hospital (Rhône) has launched a project to renovate and extend its technical facilities - and has entrusted the related HVAC work to a consortium led by SPIE Sud-Est.
These facilities concern the hospital's operating theatres and adjoining rooms; obstetrics units; emergency, intensive care, imaging and consulting services; and mortuary.
The following services are being provided by SPIE Sud-Est's HVAC operations department:
- heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems,
- chilled water production and modification of the hot water production system,
- smoke removal system,
- supply and installation of wet and dry benches.
Plumbing work is being carried out by Goiffon, and medical fluid systems are being installed by Air Liquide Santé.
The contract is worth a total of €5.8 million of which €4.9 millions will go to SPIE Sud-Est.
As the hospital will remain open during this work, crews will have to operate within special restrictions, notably as regards work site organisation.
