A prestigious new industrial customer for SPIE Ouest-Centre

Reckitt Benkiser, the world's second biggest manufacturer of cleaning and personal care products (including brands such as Harpic, Veet and Calgonit) has awarded SPIE Ouest-Centre a first multitechnical order worth €980,000. This order is for the installation of two new cosmetics production lines at its plant in Chartres which already manufactures cleaning products and will now also take on cosmetics manufacturing operations (Biactol, Lutsine, etc.) for all the group's European sites.
This multitechnical contract, which is being managed by SPIE Ouest-Centre (Val de Loire), covers general electrical, fluid depositing and HVAC systems, and some building work.
In parallel, SPIE Ouest-Centre has called on the expertise of SPIE Oil & Gas Services to help Reckitt Benkiser secure the qualification and validation of its production process with respect to Good Manufacturing Practices regulating quality and hygiene standards in the cosmetics industry.
SPIE Ouest-Centre's multitechnical offering played an important part in winning this contract. The goal is now to ensure the long-term future of this partnership with one of the most prestigious manufacturers in the Centre region of France.
