SPIE Est builds a new quenching machine for Industeel in Le Creusot

Industeel - a company in the ArcelorMittal group - has chosen SPIE Est subsidiary and mechanical engineering specialist Laurent SAS to help modernise its production facility by manufacturing, supplying and installing a water quenching machine downstream of its sheet metal heat treatment furnace.
This €1.25 million contract representing a total of 9,000 man-hours comprises the following tasks:
- construction of welded assemblies and pipework,
- preliminary assembly in the workshop and tests,
- on-site assembly and assistance with tests.
Installation on the customer's site in Le Creusot is scheduled for August 2010.
