Innovation

SPIE's innovation efforts are led by a decentralised network of "research clubs" (in HVAC, telecom services, building technologies, etc.) and special committees (defence, healthcare, Eco CO2 committee, etc.).
The Group also welcomes input from employees with ideas for progress in their respective business lines, and organises an innovation contest that accepts entries relating to technologies, services, organisation and working methods.

  • An Innovation Club open to all

The Innovation Club has three missions: detect innovations within the SPIE Group, help to industrialise them where necessary, and promote them so that they offer the most widespread benefit possible. Almost a hundred projects are submitted each year, approximately half of which go on to receive awards.
