Bouygues Immobilier has chosen the HVAC department of SPIE Ile-de-France Nord-Ouest to install the heating, air conditioning and ventilation systems for "Le Spallis" office building in Saint-Denis, near Paris.

This seven-storey building with four parking level has a total area of 39,000 sq. m.

The services to be provided by SPIE Ile-de-France Nord-Ouest comprise:

• production of chilled water by six water-cooled chilling plants and seven dry-cooled chillers installed on the terrace roof;
• installation of 1,750 two-pipe/two-wire fan-coil units and of four air treatment plants for the building;
• air conditioning of halls by three air treatment plants and heating by heated floors;
• car park ventilation and CO/NOx detection systems;
• smoke removal on landings for handicapped persons, an inter-office restaurant, a showroom and a multipurpose room;
• communicating digital control system with concentrators for relaying to a building technical management system (not included in work package).
  
  

The work for this contract, worth €8.79 million, is to be completed by January 2009.
