2007/10/16

The Building Systems Department's Services unit has recently won three major maintenance contracts.

Sibelga

This electricity and gas distribution network operator in the Brussels-Capital region has renewed its contract with SPIE Belgium for the opening and closing of gas and electricity meters, a service SPIE Belgium has been providing since 2003. The number of technicians deployed in the field has been increased to keep pace with demand which has been growing every year. There are now 25 employees working on this contract.
Worth €1.7 million a year, the new contract will run for three years with the possibility of renewal by tacit agreement for one year.

Fortis Banque

This major Belgian bank has chosen SPIE Belgium for the technical maintenance of HVAC installations at all it branches in the areas of Brabant Wallon and East Brussels. More than 150 buildings are concerned by this three-year contract which is worth €200,000 a year (including work required).

Thomas Cook Belgium

Thomas Cook, Europe's second largest tour company, has entrusted the multitechnical management of its head office in Zwijnaarde, Gand, to teams from SPIE Belgium. This €60,000-a-year contract covers the management of a wide range of services, mainly including the maintenance and repair of HVAC and electrical installations.
The contract is a renewal secured by SPIE Belgium, notably by widening its range of services to provide a multitechnical offering.
