SPIE Sud-Est acquires ACEM

2007/07/26

Further to the success of their "Ametis" alliance, SPIE Sud-Est and ACEM confirm their merger.

In 2005, SPIE Sud-Est and ACEM reached a cooperative marketing agreement and created "Ametis" a joint offer of a complete range of automated mechanical assemblies for their customers.

SPIE Sud-Est has now acquired ACEM, a specialist in the design and integration of automated mechanical systems.

ACEM is located in Auvergne to the north of Clermont-Ferrand and has 43 employees. In 2006, it generated sales of 7.2 million euros with its long-time regional customers.

The acquisition of ACEM, well known for its mechanical engineering expertise, strengthens SPIE Sud-Est's range of industrial services in the Auvergne region, and confirms its goal of developing a strong Industrial Process division for the benefit of all of its regional customers.
