SPIE implements the operation and passenger information aid system for Lyon tram network

Lyon's urban transport company, SYTRAL, has chosen a consortium formed by Roiret Entreprise and SPIE Sud-Est to implement the TETRA interface (a radio transmission system) and an operation and passenger information aid system for line T4 of the Lyon tram network.

The following services are to be provided by the Operational Information Systems and Transport Division's ARI department:

  • technical co-ordination of the entire project,
  • creation of the database interfaced with TITAN, the City of Lyon's public transport scheduling and service planning tool,
  • creation of the interface with the TETRA MOSAR server, managing SYTRAL's radio transmissions,
  • creation of man-machine interfaces in a Windows environment for the system's operator stations, - commissioning of line T4 on the TETRA radio system.

 

The contract is worth a total of €1.6 million, including €700,000 for SPIE Sud-Est.

 

The work is to be completed within 16 months.
