SPIE Ouest-Centre wins a contract in the wood processing industry

ASWOOD, a company based in Bouleville, Eure, specialising in sawdust processing, has awarded SPIE Ouest-Centre a new contract for the supervision of a wood granulate production line.
A team of four from the Rennes Process/PSR (network site protection) department has been set up for this operation. Work started in mid December 2007 and is to be coompleted in mid June this year. The contract is worth €280,000 plus an expected additional €100,000 for supplementary work.
This contract was won owing to our expertise in grinding, granulation and control processes.
On the strength of this expertise, we have developed a simplified version of the IRIS supervision software which is mainly used for the monitoring and control of livestock feed plants.
