SPIE announces its acquisition of GEFCA (Seine-Saint-Denis) and Entreprise LAPIERRE (Mayenne).

GEFCA, a company founded in 1983 by Bertrand Le Breton, is based at La Courneuve, Seine-Saint-Denis, and carries out HVAC contracting work in the Ile-de-France region. Its business mainly covers the fields of corporate real estate, banking, healthcare and local authorities for customers who have been loyal to the company for many years.
GEFCA's sales amount to €7 million. Currently employing 30 staff, this firm could increase its workforce with the support of SPIE Ile-de-France Nord-Ouest. It will strengthen SPIE's position among leading French companies in this business sector.

Entreprise LAPIERRE, which specialises in the field of general electrical installations (high and low voltages), is based at Saint-Berthevin, a town on the edge of Laval. Founded by Mr LAPIERRE in 1977, its main market is the commercial sector in Mayenne. With 15 employees, the company achieved sales of €1.5 million in 2007. It has a first-rate brand image among its customers thanks to the professionalism of its teams. The development of its workforce is planned as part of SPIE Ouest-Centre current development policy.
