SPIE Communications acquires VeePee

2010/07/08

SPIE Communications, a subsidiary of the SPIE Group, finalised its acquisition of IP services operator VeePee 6 July 2010.

Founded in 2000, VeePee built up expertise in the design of extremely secure and reliable telecommunications architectures and has become a key partner for companies facing the challenges associated with critical data and information exchanges.

VeePee designs, implements and operates innovative solutions and services to support the development of its customers' information systems.

Thanks to the synergy between its three areas of expertise as a supplier of multi-operator telecommunications offerings, integrator of new technologies and software publisher, it is able to propose well targeted, managed, secure convergence architectures et solutions.

VeePee achieved sales of €16 million in 2009 and currently has about 60 employees.

This takeover enables SPIE Communications - a French leader in communication system integration and operation and distributed IT infrastructure facilities management - to strengthen its offering in the field of IP infrastructures.
