Cergy, 27 July 2011 - SPIE Nucléaire has taken over ATMN, a provider of mechanical maintenance and industrial cleaning services based in Saint-Vigor-d'Ymonville (Seine Maritime).
Founded 20 ago by Bernard Anquetil, ATMN (Assistance Technique Maintenance et Nettoyage) generates annual sales of €17 million and has more than 150 employees. Its strong regional presence close to its customers is supported by four local branches in Paluel and Notre-Dame-de-Gravenchon (Seine-Maritime), Donges (Loire-Atlantique) and Chinon (Indre-et-Loire).
Well established in the energy market, ATMN provides services for nuclear and thermal power plants as well as other industrial sites, notably including petrochemical plants. It has considerable expertise in mechanical engineering, especially in the fields of boilermaking and valves and in chemical and high-pressure cleaning operations.
SPIE Nucléaire CEO Francis Butel points out that this acquisition provides an outstanding opportunity to boost his company's development. Both firms will able to significantly increase their added value thanks to their potential commercial and technical synergies and ATMN's excellent reputation with its customers.
Following its acquisition of Reyes Industries' nuclear operations in the Rhone valley on 19 July, SPIE Nucléaire's takeover of ATMN represents another step forward in its drive towards greater diversification and regional development.
