TOTAL has re-affirmed his confidence to SPIE Oil & Gas Services
In 1999 SPIE Oil & Gas Services Brunei was awarded an Operations and Maintenance Contract by TOTAL E&P Borneo BV for Onshore and Offshore Production Facilities. The renewal and transformation of this contract to a Global Maintenance & Operations Contract for an additional period of 5 years from 1st June 2011, with the possibility of a further 5-year extension, illustrates the faith TOTAL places in SPIE OGS Brunei and its dedicated team of employees.
The official contract signing ceremony took place in Bandar on 13th June 2011 between Jean-Francois Atge, Managing Director of SPIE OGS Asia Pacific & Yves Grosjean, General Manager of TOTAL E&P Borneo BV.
Since the very beginning over a decade ago, SPIE Oil & Gas Services was involved in every aspect of the set-up and operation of the facilities, including Commissioning & Start-up, Production, Maintenance, Logistics & Training. The success of SPIE Oil & Gas Services stems from well-structured organization, comprehensive training based on Competence Assessment Method (Opercap), rigorous selection and optimization of resources and a long-established excellent working relationship with TOTAL.
Through its unfailing commitment SPIE Oil & Gas Services contributed to producing an average of 3.5 million cubic meters of gas per day.
SPIE Oil & Gas Services supported the nationalization plan by transferring know-how and expertise to young Bruneian Technicians. SPIE Oil & Gas Services also rewarded 15 of their employees for the loyal service and dedication they had rendered to the company for over 10 years.
Last but not least, on 12th April 2011, we reached another milestone by achieving 12 years of operations without Lost Time Injury (LTI) and our employees were proud to share this remarkable event with TOTAL.
