Alain Langlais is appointed CEO of SPIE Sud-Ouest

Cergy, January 13 – SPIE announces the appointment of Alain Langlais as Chief Executive Officer of SPIE Sud-Ouest (Aquitaine, Midi-Pyrénées, Languedoc-Roussillon ; Portugal and Maroc). In this new capacity, he joins SPIE’s General Management Committee.

Having launched his career through professional training channels, Alain Langlais completed his technical training with an HVAC engineering diploma (Société Nationale des Ingénieurs) and studied management at the practical management training centre (CEPG) of top French business school ESSEC.

After initially working in a design office, he held various contract management posts before becoming branch manager at companies in the sector. In 1994, he became Regional Manager of Dalkia in Toulouse.

He joined SPIE in 2000 as Strategy Development Director at SPIE Sud-Ouest. Between 2003 and 2011, he was Regional Director for Languedoc-Roussillon and then Aquitaine. In 2011, he became Deputy CEO of SPIE Sud-Ouest.
