From March 27 to 30, 2012, all SPIE’s European subsidiaries present their dedicated solutions to transportation infrastructure. In most segments of the sectors, the Group integrates its expertise in intelligent mobility.

• Road infrastructure (roads, motorways, bypasses, tunnels, bridges, viaducts)
• Urban infrastructure (junctions with traffic lights, controlled access areas, car parks, lighting)
• Public transport infrastructure (metros, tramways, buses, tram-train, railway stations, bus stations, reserved traffic lanes for public transport, multimodal interchanges)
• Airport infrastructure (runways, aircraft access and parking routes, passenger air bridges, baggage checking and sorting, centralised technical management and building management systems)

Intertraffic, a biennial trade fair, must attend event to stay up to speed on the development in the fields of infrastructure, traffic management, safety and parking.

Demonstrations in real time of « Open ITS » (Open Intelligent Systems) solutions are held in the heart of the stand SPIE, providing an overview of the expertise of SPIE in the field of intelligent mobility with systems covering: urban travel management ; crossroads right-of-way ; passenger information and operational support ; traffic management assistance ; remote toll operation ; multimodal travel management as well as safety control station,  control room ergonomics,  centralised technical management systems, etc.
