Paris, March 15th, 2018 - Capgemini and SPIE ICS, a digital services subsidiary of the SPIE group, are forming an industrial partnership aimed at the French market for user support, focusing on on-site maintenance and assistance for workstations and related equipment.

SPIE ICS thus becomes Capgemini’s exclusive industrial partner for the provision of all types of services and operations in the on-site user support market.

This partnership is aimed at establishing a commercial and operational collaboration, enabling Capgemini and SPIE ICS to unite their expertise in this specific infrastructure management segment. It formalises the close collaboration since 2013, which resulted in large-scale projects within organisations such as le Commissariat à l’Energie Atomique et aux Energies Alternatives (CEA) (*French Alternative Energies and Atomic Energy Commission) and la Direction Générale de l’Armement (DGA) (*the French National Defence Procurement Agency).

The prospects for extending this agreement are already under investigation in order to extend it to new user practices (such as Unified Communications, mobility and collaboration). A rollout of the partnership to other European countries is also considered.

Christophe Bonnard, Capgemini’s CEO for Cloud Infrastructure Services for Southern Europe, says: “Through this partnership, Capgemini is bolstering its end-to-end infrastructure management solutions, in accordance with its role as “best in class” service integrator, in support of its clients’ transformation to cloud infrastructure”.

Cédric Périer, Managing Director of SPIE ICS, adds: “Our customers ask us for support in implementing their digital transformation. By delivering a range of enhanced services, SPIE ICS introduces an element of innovation to practices and helps reduce operating costs in the user environment”.
