Encouraging the use of public transport
SPIE has developed a proprietary automatic vehicle location and passenger information system for use in many parts of Europe. This innovative system provides web-based multimodal passenger information services, caters for disabled users, and manages communications between computerised ticketing, video surveillance and urban traffic management systems.
