Designed by architects Anthony Béchu and Tom Sheehan, the D2 tower is erected on the site of the Veritas building in the Reflets district of Courbevoie.
This demolition-reconstruction project, carried out by Sogeprom and Bouygues Immobilier for Sogecap, will give birth to a 37-storey high-rise block (180 metres tall) with a total floor area of 54,000 sq. m.
The new tower will comply with environmental standards laid down by France’s thermal building regulations (RT 2005) and with French high environmental quality (HQE) and very high energy efficiency (THPE) standards. It is to be delivered in mid 2014.
For this project, the commercial sector electrical engineering department of SPIE Ile-de-France Nord-Ouest - as leader of a consortium with Snef – will take charge of a comprehensive work package covering high-voltage electrical installations and generators, plus low-voltage installations and BMS – energy efficiency and fire safety.
