Since the early 1990's, SPIE has been providing maintenance and services as a natural addition to our traditional "projects and works" business.

Indeed, SPIE helped to define the scope of the maintenance and services businesses through our active involvement in developing the industry guidelines and standards now accepted as benchmarks. We have never stopped pushing back the boundaries, through innovations such as designing a cryogenic cleaning tool for live electrical cabinets, and co-founding France's first dedicated facility management company, to mention just two examples.

Today, SPIE is harnessing this experience in order to address a broad spectrum of customer requirements, whether in industry and the commercial sector, telecommunications, energy, transport or for local authority projects, adopting the same rigorous approach wherever we work.

In keeping with our goal of offering customers global solutions, SPIE provides monotechnical, multitechnical and multiservice support across a wide range of areas, including heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems, electrical and mechanical engineering, automatic control, communication and monitoring systems. As part of this mission to release customers to focus on their core businesses, SPIE is also able to manage and coordinate other contracted services.

Because SPIE possesses an extensive, dense network of regional offices, in-house engineering and process planning resources, specialist technicians in all maintenance-related trades and our own training centre, we can ensure that all our customers receive the most appropriate maintenance and services solution for their particular needs, and SPIE is able to fully satisfy their requirements in terms of safety, risk control, productivity and environmental protection.
