Video protection
Video protection solutions have multiple security applications for buildings, public spaces and transport routes. SPIE is developing a comprehensive offering in this area, providing advice and assessing requirements as well as supplying IP, conventional and hybrid solutions and managed services. For example, the Group installed a remote operation system for motorway toll barriers, featuring a combination of video surveillance and intercom technology.

Video protection for every situation
As a member of AN2V, the national association of towns and cities that have opted for video surveillance, SPIE is developing innovative expertise in the area of urban security. The Group also installs and commissions automatic road speed checking devices (speed cameras and warning signs). Lastly, SPIE has recently become a nationally referenced supplier to SNCF, as part of a project to install video protection at 500 French railway stations.
