SPIE boosts its offer in automation, robotics and manufacturing process with the integration of Cimlec Industrie

Paris, September 3, 2019 The Industrie division of SPIE Industrie & Tertiaire, a subsidiary of SPIE, the independent European leader in multi-technical services in the areas of energy and communications, is now integrating Cimlec Industrie S.A.S. and its subsidiaries (Cimlec), a key player renowned for its expertise in automation, robotics and the manufacturing process optimisation. · Manufacturing industry: Cimlec, with its subsidiary Commercy Robotique, has a strong position in the market through of its expertise in robotic integration. This additional service provides the Industrie division with additional assets to support its clients in optimising their processes.

The acquisition of Cimlec fits perfectly with our development plans because our business activities and client portfolios are so complementary,” explains Frédéric Toussaint, Managing Director of the Industrie division of SPIE Industrie & Tertiaire. "Our robotics and automation service offering will be significantly enhanced and diversified, enabling us to support our clients moving towards industry 4.0, thereby driving the performance of their industrial processes. Complementary expertise
