This six-year deal covers the operation, maintenance and renovation of street lighting installations, including Christmas illuminations and traffic lights.
SPIE Ile-de-France Nord-Ouest has pledged to reduce power consumption for lighting with and without remote management systems by 85% and 77% respectively. Existing lamps will be replaced with a new LED solution to help achieve the results guaranteed by the contract.
The sustainable development approach adopted for this EPC will enable Lieusaint, one of 12 urban authorities making up the new town of Sénart, in France’s Seine-et-Marne department, to cut its energy bills and improve the quality of service for users.
This project is a new challenge for the teams from SPIE’s Villaroche works unit, with renovation scheduled over a six-year period, contractually guaranteed targets to be met and a technology monitoring plan to be implemented.
SPIE Ile-de-France Nord-Ouest’s local presence and its ability to help its customers make their energy management more efficient were key to its success in winning this contract which confirms SPIE’s position as a leader in the field of public lighting projects with guaranteed results in the Ile-de-France region.
On this strength of its recognised expertise, SPIE Ile-de-France Nord-Ouest is currently optimising the energy performances of the following local authorities:
- Energy performance contracts (EPC) with the towns of Savigny-sur-Orge (Essonne) and Chevilly-Larue (Val-de-Marne),
