Reducing the impact of nuclear activities on the environment
SPIE has for many years worked alongside EDF and Areva to mitigate the environmental impact of nuclear activities. For example, expertise provided by SPIE during dismantling operations has enabled a reduction in the volume of waste that needs processing, and this waste is classified to enable more appropriate storage.
