Installing and maintaining building's lighting

SPIE utilises electricity consumption, operating costs and user comfort to support businesses and organisations in optimising their lighting systems.

SPIE can adapt to suit any type of building whether that be offices, laboratories, industrial spaces or storage warehouses and offer a range of services including:

  • Inspection and maintenance of lighting systems
  • Electrical equipment such as cables, switches, sockets and lighting
  • Renovation and replacement of old lighting with LED lighting.
  • Lighting control systems, detectors, programming and automation.
  • Auditing, diagnostics and inventory of the lighting systems.

The maintenance activities carried out by SPIE help maintain the efficiency of a buildings’ lighting systems. Key drivers for producing energy savings are also identified regarding to the energy performance of the building’s equipment.

New electrotechnical infrastructure for Merck

In 2019, SPIE Deutschland & Zentraleuropa commissioned the electrotechnical installation of Merck new Pharma Packaging Center PH85, located in Darmstadt (Germany). The operation focuses on the installation and documentation, in accordance with technical requirements, of medical product manufacturing plants. This centre will produce 210 million packages of medicines per year.
