Malakoff, 30 March 2015 – SPIE Communications has announced the appointment of Fariborz Farhoudi as Director of Innovation and Digital Transformation. In his new post, he will be responsible for digital development and the launching of innovative transformation projects inside and outside the company.
Having graduated from Skema Business School and Lille University of Science and Technology, Fariborz Farhoudi joined SPIE Communications in 1995 as a business engineer. He then pursued his career through various roles in the sale of solutions and services to medium-sized firms and major clients, acquiring managerial skills in 1998. He then took charge of various regional business departments, with responsibility for developing SPIE Communications’ business activities and several transformation projects.
As Innovation and Digital Transformation Director, he is now responsible for developing innovation in two areas: in-house, for the company staff, and externally for the benefit of customers. Within the company, the goals are to push ahead with the digital transformation of the user environment and to promote Open Innovation with the participation of all employees. Another important aim is to pursue changes in the field of supplier relations through joint innovation with partners on the basis of shared goals with the possibility of creating value for all the parties involved and, in particular, for the company’s customers.
