Cergy, 12 February 2014 – SPIE announces the appointment of Gilles Landry as Group Sustainable Development Director, with effect from 1st February 2014.
Gilles Landry started his career as site Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) manager for General Electric (1991-1994). He subsequently joined PPG Glass Europe as HSE Activities co-ordinator France (1994-1999). In 1998, he was appointed HSE Europe co-ordinator at AGC Automotive Europe.
After working as Health, Safety and Environment Manager of the Auto Exterior Division of Plastic Omnium from 2004 to 2011, Gilles Landry joined SPIE in July 2011 as Accident Prevention, Health and Safety Director, a role that he will continue to fulfil.
Working alongside SPIE Group Executive Vice President, Alfredo Zarowsky, Gilles Landry will have particular responsibility for developing Prevention, Environmental Performance and Quality, thus bearing testimony to SPIE’s commitment in the area of CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility).
