Mayor’s Trade Fair 2014 - SPIE’S SMART CITY - Giving new meaning to the city

Cergy, 18 November 2014 – For its seventh year running as an exhibitor at the Mayors’ Trade Fair (Salon des Maires), SPIE is unveiling a new vision of tomorrow’s cities and regions with its new SMART CITY and e-NITIATIVE BUILDINGS offerings.

In response to needs for the renovation, modernisation and maintenance of local authority infrastructures and facilities, the team manning SPIE’s stand offers its expertise and know-how to present its vision of tomorrow’s city to local authority representatives. By taking up the key challenges of designing, constructing, operating and maintaining innovative installations and low-energy buildings and providing facilities management services, SPIE aims to give a new meaning to smart cities and regions. 

Special events will take place on the stand throughout the exhibition to illustrate SPIE’s solutions:

Optimising urban and inter-urban development

  Actively involved in every field of transport and transport infrastructure – roads,
  motorways, tunnels, public transport, and air, river and rail traffic – SPIE offers
  solutions meeting the growing needs for sustainable mobility.

Enhancing public areas and their safety

Making buildings smart: SPIE’s e-NITIATIVE

  Upgrading, installation, operation and maintenance of buildings – Energy efficiency
  offered by turnkey solutions, from metering stations to complete, managed
  installations. SPIE meets increasing demands for buildings’ energy and
  environmental performance, safety, quality, comfort, connectivity and accessibilitys.

Developing intercommunicating regions

  Roll-out, installation and maintenance of landline and mobile networks – IT solutions
  and service offerings.

 Supporting the energy transition

  SPIE’s expertise at the service of a balanced, long-term energy mix
  [Production, transport and distribution of renewable and fossil energies]
