EcoVadis 2025 ranking: SPIE wins gold medal and ranks among the top 5% of the world’s most sustainable companies and the top 2% in the industry

Cergy, 28 January 2026 – SPIE, the independent European leader in multi-technical services in the areas of energy and communications, has been awarded the gold medal in the EcoVadis 2025 assessment, with a score of 78/100. This places the Group among the top 5% of companies globally for the tenth time since 2013, and among the top 2% in its industry.

Awarded following the EcoVadis 2025 assessment, a leading sustainability rating platform, this distinction recognises SPIE’s performance across four core pillars: the environment, social and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement. It reflects the strength of the Group’s commitments and their delivery across the business, at a time when assessment criteria are becoming more stringent and the performance level of other assessed companies continues to rise.

Confirmed recognition for carbon management and responsible practices

In addition to its overall rating, SPIE was once again recognised in 2025 as a Carbon Management Leader by EcoVadis. This recognition reflects a robust greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions management system, ambitious decarbonisation trajectory, clear and measurable actions, and high-quality, transparent carbon reporting.

SPIE has also committed to reduce its absolute Scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions by 50% by 2030 from a 2019 base year. In September 2025, the SBTi1 confirmed that this target is in line with a trajectory that contributes to achieving the most ambitious goal of the Paris Agreement: limiting global warming to 1.5°C.

These results reflect a structured, collective approach, implemented across all of the Group’s subsidiaries.

“This new ranking reflects our sustainability ambition in action, enshrined in our 2025 and now 2030 sustainability roadmap. We keep raising the bar on our social, environmental, ethics and responsible procurement performance so as to stay a trusted partner delivering field-proven solutions for a low-carbon economy” says Isabelle Lambert, Sustainability Director at the SPIE group.
