Paris, February 11, 2020 – The Board of Directors is pleased to announce that it has decided to co-opt Ms Elisabeth Van Damme as a Director of SPIE SA. She will replace Nathalie Palladitcheff who resigns due to her increasing responsibilities within Ivanhoé Cambridge. Elisabeth Van Damme will represent the Caisse de Dépôt et Placement du Québec, SPIE’s largest shareholder. A resolution to ratify the co-optation will be presented at the next General Meeting, to be held on 29 May 2020.
A graduate in Applied Economics from Saint-Louis University, Brussels, Ms Elisabeth Van Damme began her career at BBKS-KPMG (1988-1992) as a senior auditor before joining Coca-Cola Services as a financial controller (1992-1996).
Financial director until 2008 at Bureau Van Dijk and partner of Redwood Finance, a financial consultancy firm until 2019, Elisabeth Van Damme is currently senior director at Moody's Analytics.
Elisabeth Van Damme also previously served as CFO of Air Creative Associates (2011-2013) and Villa Eugénie SA (2013-2016). Between 2017 and June 2019, she was an Independent Director on the Board of Bourbon Offshore, a company specialising in offshore oil and gas marine services. Elisabeth Van Damme is currently on the board of Elior Group, where she is also a member of the audit committee.
