Felipe Sabbadini appointed Procurement Director of the SPIE group

Cergy, 22 October 2025 - SPIE, the independent European leader in multi-technical services in the areas of energy and communications, has announced the appointment of Felipe Sabbadini as Group Procurement Director, effective 1 October 2025. He reports to Pablo Ibáñez, Group Development and Operational Support Director.

Felipe Sabbadini (47) brings with him a wealth of international experience in procurement management, gained in the automotive, energy and telecoms infrastructure sectors as well as the mining industry.

Before joining SPIE, he had held the position of Group Purchasing Vice President at Imerys since 2020, having previously performed key roles at Johnson Controls, Federal Mogul, Alstom Grid (GE) and Nexans. Felipe Sabbadini holds an MBA in finance from the FGV (Fundação Getulio Vargas) and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Unisinos University in Brazil.

The procurement department plays a central role in meeting the Group's greenhouse gas reduction targets. Since 2024, SPIE has included scope 3 emissions linked to the use of equipment installed at its customers' premises in its emissions calculations. These represent 96% of its total emissions. The company is aiming for a 55% reduction in the economic intensity of these emissions by 2030.
