Malakoff, 4 November 2021 - SPIE ICS, the French digital services subsidiary of the SPIE Group, the independant European leader in multi-technical services in the areas of energy and communications, has announced the integration of Infidis, a specialist in the design, integration and maintenance of data centre infrastructures. This external growth operation is the first carried out by SPIE ICS since the acquisition of S-Cube four years ago.

With this acquisition, announced last July, SPIE ICS becomes one of the French leaders in data centre integration. In particular, it strengthens its positioning in hyperconvergence solutions, a fast-growing market that consists of simplifying datacenter administration by combining computing, storage, networking and virtualisation components in a single system.

The Infidis teams and management join the specialist business unit, led by Antoine Chacra, who said: "The integration of Infidis gives SPIE ICS a dominant sector positioning, particularly in the financial and services sectors, combined with extensive national coverage".

SPIE ICS is doubling the size of its technical teams and strengthening its skills, both in architecture and in managed services around the datacenter. It has reached a critical size that will enable it to develop partnerships at a high level of expertise with the leading manufacturers and publishers in the data centre architecture market.

"This acquisition is perfectly in line with the objectives of our 2021 - 2025 strategic plan. The datacenter market is experiencing strong growth, with the use of innovative technologies. SPIE ICS now covers the full range of technological solutions for the entire project life cycle, from consulting to integration and operation," said Xavier Daubignard, Managing Director of SPIE ICS.
