Warsaw, 1 December 2025. SPIE Stangl Technik sp. z o.o., a Polish subsidiary of SPIE, the independent European leader in multi-technical services in the areas of energy and communications, has commenced installation works in the prestigious Upper One office building in the centre of Warsaw. The company will deliver a full suite of technical systems, including HVAC and electrical installations, designed to meet the building’s ambitious energy performance targets.
Upper One is a modern, technologically advanced, 34-storey Class A office building with five additional underground floors. Located at the junction of the Śródmieście and Wola districts, it offers approximately 36,000 square metres of office space on the site of the former Atrium International. The building is designed to meet the highest environmental standards, targeting LEED Platinum and WELL certification in line with its outstanding energy efficiency and superior occupant comfort and wellbeing. Its glass façade, high standard of finishing and advanced building systems make it one of the most attractive and prestigious office locations in Poland.
The investment is scheduled to be completed in 2027. SPIE Stangl Technik plays an important role in the work on the building.
Scope of work performed by SPIE Stangl Technik
SPIE Stangl Technik is installing high-performance heating and cooling systems, advanced ventilation, fire safety infrastructure, and electrical networks. From heat recovery and air conditioning to uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems, power generation, and electric vehicle charging stations, SPIE is mobilising the full range of its technical expertise to deliver a resilient and energy efficient building environment.
The project manager is Marcin Balcerczak from SPIE Stangl Technik.
The project is underway in challenging site conditions due to the restricted construction area and the logistical complexity of vertical and horizontal transportation. These constraints, which impose meticulous planning and the use of specialised equipment, highlight SPIE’s operational excellence and experience in managing technically demanding projects.
“Upper One will stand out for its advanced infrastructure, innovative construction technologies and ambitious sustainability targets. Our specialised installations will be a key contributor to the success of this flagship development. We are proud to be part of the project and extend our thanks to the general contractor, STRABAG Sp. z o.o., and the investor, STRABAG Real Estate, for the trust they have placed in us,” said Piotr Jasiński, Branch Manager of SPIE Stangl Technik in Warsaw.
