Paris, June 13th, 2018 – SPIE ICS, the digital services subsidiary of the SPIE group, announces the appointment of Quentin Bechelli as Director of its Public and Industrial business activities. The appointment is effective as of 2 January 2018.

With a professional Master’s degree in Instrumentation specialising in Networks and Telecommunications from Aix-Marseille University, Quentin Bechelli joined SPIE ICS in 2008 as a Key Accounts Business Engineer. Formerly Head of the Private Sector service (2011) before heading up the ‘Large Enterprises’ office within the Mediterranean section (2013), his most recent role was as Director for the North-East within the Eastern business division (2014-2018).

Quentin Bechelli will now report directly to Cédric Périer, the Managing Director of SPIE ICS. As such, he becomes a member of SPIE ICS’s Executive Committee.

As part of his new duties, Quentin Bechelli will aim to support the digital transformation of the industrial sector (Industry 4.0) with new technologies such as artificial intelligence and big data. Another objective will be to develop the public and private health sector market, where growth prospects are strong, in particular with the deployment of collaborative technologies such as telemedicine and the digitisation of patient pathways.

The business areas for which I am responsible, particularly territorial authorities and administrations, will also be heavily impacted by the territorial transformations affecting the Ile-de-France region, such as Greater Paris, or by events like the 2024 Summer Olympics. All of which represent challenges that will need to be tackled with all of my colleagues”, notes Quentin Bechelli.
