Rainer Hollang appointed Managing Director of SPIE Germany Switzerland Austria

Cergy, 4 May 2026 – SPIE, the independent European leader in multi-technical services in the areas of energy and communications, announces that Rainer Hollang has been appointed Managing Director of SPIE Germany Switzerland Austria as of 1 May 2026. In this role, he is a member of the Executive Committee of the SPIE Group and reports to Markus Holzke, who has been CEO the SPIE Group since 30 April 2026.

Rainer Hollang is taking over as Managing Director of SPIE Germany Switzerland Austria, which has become the largest subsidiary by revenue and growth within the SPIE Group. Under the leadership of Markus Holzke, who has served as CEO of the SPIE Group since 30 April 2026, SPIE Germany Switzerland Austria has developed into the leading multi-technical service provider in its markets and has grown from 300 to 20,700 employees over the past 13 years.

Rainer Hollang holds a degree in civil engineering from TU Berlin. He began his career at an engineering firm before joining Hochtief Service Solutions in 2005. Following its integration into SPIE in 2013, he held various management positions as a Member of the Management Board before being appointed Managing Director of SPIE Germany Switzerland Austria on 1 May 2026.
