Cergy, 2 September 2025 - SPIE, the independent European leader in multi-technical services in the areas of energy and communications, has announced the appointment of Sébastien Soubiale as Group Prevention, Health and Safety Director, effective 1 July 2025. He reports to Pablo Ibáñez, Group Development and Operational Support Director.

With a background in atomic engineering and an MBA from the University of Queensland, Sébastien Soubiale started his career in 2003 at Naval Group as a nuclear prevention engineer. He then worked in HSE management functions within large industrial groups. In 2022, he joined Alstom as HSE Director for France.

The Prevention, Health and Safety Department coordinates the Group’s occupational health and safety policy, in close contact with all operational entities. Its role is based on risk assessment, the implementation of preventive measures, continuous improvement in terms of operational risk management and supporting teams in promoting a shared prevention culture.

The Health & Safety policy is at the heart of SPIE’s strategy. It embodies our primary responsibility: to preserve the health of our employees and partners. As part of our 2030 roadmap, we have set ambitious targets, including reducing serious accidents by 30% over the next five years,” says Sébastien Soubiale, whose appointment fully aligns with this approach.
