SPIE acquires PTC Telecom GmbH

Strengthening Information & Communication Services in southern Germany

Ratingen, 7 June 2022 – SPIE, the independent European leader in multi-technical services in the areas of energy and communications, has announced the acquisition of PTC Telecom GmbH. With this acquisition, SPIE is strengthening the Information & Communication Services in Germany.

PTC Telecom GmbH (PTC) is headquartered in Woerthsee near Munich and provides technical services in information and communication technology, more specifically in telecommunication solutions and unified communication. The company has a broad customer base and sound partnerships, in particular with technology partners such as Atos Unify and Avaya. With the acquisition of PTC, SPIE is strengthening its regional position and expanding its local presence in southern Germany. With around 70 qualified employees, PTC generated total revenues of around €12.5 million in 2021.
