Feyzin, 14 December 2015 – The SPIE Group, the independent European leader in multi-technical services in the areas of energy and communications, announces the acquisition of Entreprise Villanova by its SPIE Sud-Est regional subsidiary.

Founded in 1989 by Jean-Pierre Villanova, the French limited liability company SARL Entreprise Villanova is located in the town Les Martres-de-Veyre, in the French’s Department Puy-de-Dôme. Specialised in high and low-voltage electrical installations, it operates in the sector of the new collective housing in that department.

Entreprise Villanova, which employs 20 people, achieved sales revenues amounting to €2.1 million in 2014.

Entreprise Villanova teams will now be attached to the Rhône-Loire-Auvergne operations department of SPIE Sud-Est. They will be entrusted with new apartment building sites in the Auvergne region.

"As Mr Villanova wished to safeguard the future prosperity of his company after his retirement, we decided we should work side by side 2 or 3 years in order to ensure a smooth transition," says Luc Sauze, Rhône-Loire-Auvergne operational director at SPIE Sud-Est. "The skills of his teams, which have been recognised for several years, will enable us to immediately offer high-quality services in the sector of the new collective housing throughout the Auvergne region."
