Warsaw, Poland, 27 April 2026 – SPIE Building Solutions sp. z o.o., a subsidiary of SPIE, the independent European leader in multi-technical services in the areas of energy and communications, has expanded its cooperation with the Żabka convenience store chain. On 1 April 2026, the company took over technical maintenance services for a further 1,135 stores in the Wielkopolskie Voivodeship, bringing the total number of Żabka outlets serviced by SPIE to more than 4,000 – nearly 30% of the chain’s network in Poland.

The expansion of the partnership is a natural next step following the earlier phase, launched in September 2025 in the Mazowieckie, Łódzkie and Świętokrzyskie voivodeships, which covered more than 3,000 outlets. The scope of services includes comprehensive technical support for the shops, including the handling of service requests, repairs, and the ongoing maintenance of infrastructure and equipment. These activities are designed to ensure business continuity and the uninterrupted operation of the retail network. The cooperation is governed by a long-term service agreement concluded for an indefinite period, providing a solid foundation for the further development of the partnership between the two companies.

The project is delivered by specialised mobile teams of technicians and service engineers, supported by SPIE’s extensive operational structure. In their day-to-day work, they use a fleet of vehicles branded with both the SPIE and Żabka logos, underlining the collaborative nature of the partnership.

“The new stage of our cooperation covers the Wielkopolskie Voivodeship, which, given its size, presents organisational, logistical and staffing challenges,” says Paweł Markiewicz, Project Manager at SPIE Building Solutions. “We have therefore put in place an appropriate structure of teams and resources to ensure efficient service delivery across the entire area. The expansion of our cooperation reflects the client’s trust in our capabilities. From their perspective, the reliability of the stores’ technical infrastructure is critical, as it affects both the working conditions of franchisees and the shopping experience of customers.”

SPIE Building Solutions is one of the leaders in the technical property maintenance market in Poland. Thanks to its nationwide service network, mobile technical teams and single-provider model, the company is able to deliver comprehensive infrastructure services across geographically dispersed locations. Company representatives emphasise that the scale of the project and its dynamic growth point to the potential for further expansion of the cooperation in the future.
