Cergy, 28 January 2022 - SPIE, independent European leader in multi-technical services in the areas of energy and communications, announces the appointment of Isabelle Lambert, Director of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) as a new member of its Executive Committee. This appointment underscores the roll-out of the Group’s strategic CSR ambitions, particularly in terms of energy transition, one of the major focuses of its strategy.

Agraduate of Sciences-Po Paris and certified in quality and environmental management by the University of Augsburg in Germany, Isabelle Lamber is an expert in sustainable development issues. After working as an environmental analyst for TOTAL in 2001, in 2003 she joined the World Environment Center, a Washington DC-based NGO that promotes sustainable development through partnerships between large industrial groups, governmental bodies and multi-lateral organizations. She then worked as Director of Environment and CSR for the CGG group, before joining the SPIE group in November 2019 as Director of Corporate Social Responsibility.

Isabelle Lambert explains, “I am honoured to join the executive committee at SPIE, a company whose services are at the heart of energy transition and that addressed CSR issues very early on. Thus, 41% of the Group's production in 2020 contributes significantly to climate change mitigation according to the European taxonomy. Our goal is to reach 50% by 2025. Alongside the teams, I will use my expertise and determination to support the Group's 2025 CSR ambitions: reducing our carbon footprint to match the limit of global warming to 1.5°C above pre-industrial levels, halving severe accidents and increasing the number of women in key management positions by 25%.
