SPIE expands its regional coverage in the Netherlands with the acquisition of the Numac Group

Breda, The Netherlands, 1st May 2015 – SPIE, the independent European leader in multi-technical services in the areas of energy and communications, has today announced the acquisition of the Numac Group. This strategic acquisition enables SPIE Nederland to strengthen its position in the eastern region of the Netherlands.

Created in 1984, Numac is a leading industrial maintenance and technical services provider for the industry in the Netherlands. Through its 4 subsidiaries, the company offers a comprehensive portfolio of services and solutions: multi-disciplinary maintenance, metal processing equipment maintenance, electrical installation and panels’ assembly, support services for OEM. With more than 670 employees working from16 locations in the Netherlands, the Numac Group is headquartered in Venray, in the eastern part of the Netherlands. In 2014, Numac generated a turnover of €57 million.
