Cergy, 21 October 2025 – SPIE France, a subsidiary of the SPIE group, the independent European leader in multi-technical services in the areas of energy and communications, has just received certification from Great Place To Work®, global expert in employee experience assessment. This certification covers the close to 20,000 employees of SPIE France and its six subsidiaries and reflects a particularly strong company culture.

81% of respondents state that they are proud of what their company has achieved

The results of the Great Place To Work® survey conducted among all employees of SPIE France and its subsidiaries demonstrate great pride of belonging; 81% of respondents state that they are proud of what their company has achieved.

The overall perception of SPIE France employees has improved by 9 points, from 62% to 71%, since the last Great Place To Work® survey, which was conducted in 2023. The Trust Index©, which is the average of the positive response rate across all questions related to the Great Place To Work® model, increased by 6 points compared to 2023 to reach 67%.

Taking a more detailed look, the results of the 2025 survey showcase a strong company culture underpinned by a number of strengths:

  • A working environment perceived as reassuring and adaptable, with 90% of respondents feeling safe and nearly three-quarters stating that they are happy with their work-life balance;
  • A commitment to the company that is also reflected in the workplace environment and employee relationships: 72% of those surveyed value friendliness and mutual support among colleagues;
  • A sense of pride that is strengthened by the independence and responsibility granted to employees: 79% of respondents feel trusted by their managers and 75% state that they are given a lot of responsibility within their company.

A certification that recognises an ambitious HR policy

These results are supported by quotes that highlight the satisfaction employees feel to be working for a company that is invested in decarbonising buildings, regions and industries.

"I am proud that we are combatting global warming through our presence in growth markets and setting an example by driving electric cars" (a quote taken from a SPIE France employee's survey response).

As a recognised player in the energy transition, SPIE provides essential services such as the modernisation of electricity networks, the implementation of low-carbon solutions and the digitisation of infrastructure. In 2024, nearly 50% of the group's revenue was linked to activities that make a significant contribution to combating climate change.

Last year, the SPIE group revealed its purpose, which was defined by means of a collaborative approach involving 700 employees from 14 countries and more than 20 customers: "At SPIE, we apply our collective expertise to designing and implementing reliable technical solutions that address society's sustainability challenges".

"Achieving this certification provides important recognition and proves that our ambitious HR policy, which is aligned to our three values of performance, proximity and responsibility, is bearing fruit. It also confirms that SPIE's purpose resonates with all of our teams," declares Arnaud Tirmarche, Managing Director of SPIE France.

"These results prove that SPIE is a great place to work. We prioritise fostering a welcoming and engaging working environment. In particular, we have reviewed our Campus SPIE management training programme to further strengthen the relationship between managers and their teams," explains Sandra Hen Poulain, Director of Human Resources at SPIE France.

The survey was conducted from 5 to 21 June 2025 and recorded a response rate of 61% of SPIE France employees (a 9-point increase compared to the previous survey, which was conducted in 2023).
