Bern, 26 May 2023 - SPIE Switzerland, the Swiss subsidiary of SPIE, the independent European leader in multi-technical services in the areas of energy and communications, has been awarded the "Best Workplaces" label in the category dedicated to large companies.

After being named "Best Place to Work" in September 2022, SPIE Switzerland was awarded the additional distinction of "Best Workplaces" in the category for large companies at the Best Workplaces® awards ceremony at the Kaufleuten in Zurich on 16 May 2023. With a total score of 87 points in an employee survey, SPIE Switzerland is above the average for comparable companies in its category.

Organisations recognised as one of Switzerland's Best Workplaces® are among the country's best employers. This distinction rewards outstanding performance in terms of working relationships based on trust and working conditions that are both attractive and conducive to employees.

"The Best Workplaces® Switzerland award is particularly valuable because it is given to a company by its own employees. Employees are in the best position to assess the workplace culture and thus demonstrate an authentic perception of their employer", explains Thomas Schneider, Great Place to Work® co-shareholder and consultant.

Pierre Savoy, Managing Director of SPIE Switzerland, added: "I would like to thank all SPIE employees. Without their daily commitment to excellent service for our customers and perfect internal cooperation, this would not be possible.

To be considered as one of the Best Workplaces®, organisations must achieve at least 70% approval in the employee survey, the Trust Index®, submit a Culture Brief® and meet the minimum requirements of the Culture Audit®. Organisations awarded Best Workplaces® must first be Great Place to Work® certified.

The Best Workplaces award is presented once a year and is valid for an unlimited period.
