SPIE Nucléaire acquires Fluigetec in France

Cergy, May 23rd, 2018 – SPIE, the independent European leader in multi-technical services in the areas of energy and communications, has successfully completed the acquisition of Fluigetec in France from US-based group Lincoln Electric. This acquisition allows SPIE to complement the wide range of services it offers to the nuclear sector.

Based in Pierrelatte, Fluigetec S.A. (“Fluigetec”) specializes in the installation, control and maintenance of gas distribution networks in industrial environments, with a particular know-how in the nuclear sector and a leading expertise in inerting systems. The company employs 19 people and generated revenue close to €2 million in 2017.

David Guillon, Managing Director of SPIE Nucléaire, commented: “This acquisition enables us to complement our service portfolio for the nuclear industry in France. Fluigetec’s expertise will allow SPIE to expand its technical capabilities and better address its clients’ expectations in the French nuclear industry.
