SPIE Oil & Gas Services has been awarded two contracts by ENI for global maintenance services for onshore receiving facilities in Congo and in Ghana

Cergy, November 12th, 2018 – The multinational Oil & Gas company ENI has chosen SPIE Oil & Gas Services for Global maintenance services for Onshore Receiving Facilities in Congo and in Ghana.

SPIE Oil & Gas Services Congo Ltd. was awarded by ENI Congo a contract for Global maintenance services for Onshore Receiving Facilities. This 3-year contract started on August 1st 2018 and can be renewed twice for a year. 208 positions are required to carry this service, among which 204 Congolese employees and 4 expatriates. The equipment concerned are turbines, compressors, systems of control, instruments, rotating machines, electrical equipment and piping.

With this success, SPIE Oil & Gas Services’ position as a key player in an increasingly complex and competitive market.

Likewise, ENI Ghana has awarded SPIE Oil & Gas Services Ghana Ltd. “Global maintenance services for Onshore Receiving Facilities”. This is a multi-skilled maintenance contract with a permanent team of 15 positions and a call off part for other services.

This second contract started in August 2018, for a duration of 2 years and one optional year.

It is an important step for the development of SPIE Oil & Gas Services Ghana Ltd., a recently opened and registered subsidiary, with a sustainable turnover. This contract also confirms its strategy to develop a strong technical regional area based on the strengths and capabilities of its Europe & Africa Business Unit.
