Saint-Denis, 26 October 2021 The Tertiaire division of SPIE Industrie & Tertiaire, a French subsidiary of the SPIE group, the independent European leader in multi-technical services in the areas of energy and communications, is carrying out the electrical engineering work for Welink, an 18,000 m2 property complex developed by em2c Group. SPIE’s foothold in Lyon has really come into its own in this project.

Welink is the result of Enedis’s desire to bring together 1,400 of its staff members within the same building. Commissioned by the property developer em2c Group, the Tertiaire division of SPIE Industrie & Tertiaire, a subsidiary of SPIE France, is handling the low and high current work. “Our team has successfully showcased its ability to execute this contract within a tight deadline” explains Christophe Viennet, Business Manager at SPIE. The teams are involved in the installation of a high-voltage station and the fire safety system. These installations are designed to facilitate greater flexibility in the planning of the final premises.

Strong growth in the Lyon region

Welink ensures the continuation of the Tertiaire division’s work on the significant service-sector projects in the Lyon region. The teams are involved in the execution of different flagship projects in the city such as the Tour Oxygen, the Tour Incity and Sky 56. It has also supported the changes of large private or public groups who have set up their regional headquarters in Lyon, like Poste Immo.

The Tertiaire division currently employs 192 staff members in the Lyon region and it has 17 open positions to support its development. These include climate engineering technicians, electricians, design engineers and business managers.
