Roermond, September 13th, 2018 – SPIE, the independent European leader in multi-technical services in the areas of energy and communications, is partnering up with Unica Installation Technologies and Saan Industrial Removals for the relocation of Sekisui Alveo. This market leader in the polyolefin foam sector is relocating its entire plant to a new production site in Roermond.
At the beginning of July 2018, the first production lines were handed back to Sekisui Alveo again after having been moved from Wales to Roermond. Along with coding, uncoupling, disassembly, transportation and rebuilding of the machine lines, the firm also requested to upgrade the machines to optimise production.
Jan Maas Smit, SPIE’s business unit manager is involved in this extensive turnkey operation. “Within this partnership, SPIE is responsible for the modifications of the production lines in order to optimise production. The production test is already achieving the expected output and meets the specifications. An even more efficient production level is anticipated.”
The second phase, involving the relocation, modification and reconstruction of yet another production line with all its associated equipment and systems, is already underway.
