London, April 4, 2019 - SPIE UK, a subsidiary of SPIE, the independent European leader in multi-technical services in the areas of energy and communications, has been awarded a contract by Liverpool City Council for Hard Facilities Management across ten schools in the City.

The contract is SPIE UK’s ninth from a public sector organisation in the past twelve months and covers the maintenance of building fabric, building services, hard landscaping and pest control services. Awarded after a rigorous competitive tender, the work complements the services that SPIE currently provides to sixteen schools on behalf of Liverpool City Council.

Fostering a culture of collaboration is what sets SPIE apart in the market and is why we are the trusted contractor to so many in the public sector. SPIE has substantial experience and expertise in the field of education and we look forward to providing the pupils and teachers of these schools with the perfect environment in which to fulfil their ambitions.”

Claire Slinger, Assistant Director for Regeneration, said, “It’s important to us that we work with companies on a collaborative basis in order to deliver high quality workmanship and results on time.
