Zurich, March 20th, 2018 – The multi-technical services provider SPIE MTS SA, a subsidiary of SPIE Switzerland Ltd, announces the appointment of Roberto Patera as Managing Director for the Romandy region of Switzerland, effective as of 1 May 2018.
In his new role, Roberto Patera will be responsible for developing SPIE MTS SA’s strategic business units in the Romandy region, namely Smart city, Energies, Industry Services and e-fficient buildings. Meeting the current and future needs of the company’s clients will be one of his main priorities.
Roberto Patera will sit on the Executive Committee of SPIE Switzerland Ltd, replacing Thierry Coutant, who will be taking on fresh challenges at SPIE France.
Born in 1978, Roberto Patera began his career as a project leader at Paul Vaucher SA, after having graduated as an engineer from the Universities of Applied Sciences and Arts (Hautes écoles spécialisées, HES). Four years later, he joined TSA Solutions & Services (Cegelec Group). He moved to Alpiq Intec Suisse in 2010, where he initially served as a sales engineer before holding the positions of Head of Sales, Head of the Electrotechnical Operational Unit, Deputy Director and, most recently, Regional Director.
